As part of its mission to provide information to the public, the AD€ publishes a monthly "ADE forum" in the Numismatic Bulletin, which brings together information on the Euro.

CLASSIFIED ADS

A "classified ads" section allows members to offer their duplicates or find the latest coins and notes missing from their collection.

ACHATS GROUPÉS

Through this service, members can group their purchases and offer the items they buy to other members, without profit, on the forum.

EVENTS

The association has branches close to you to keep the network of collectors alive on a regional (in France) and national (outside France) scale.

REPRESENTATIONS

The large number of members in our association gives us a certain weight of representation, particularly at the level of the issuing institutes, the European Central Bank and the press.

FFAN / CIN

The AD€ are members of the French Federation of Numismatic Associations and the International Council on Numismatics, as an association of Euro collectors.

The Fédération Française des Associations Numismatiques (FFAN) brings together a large number of French associations specialising in numismatics (around fifty in 2010). As the largest French numismatic association in terms of membership, Les AD€ is of course a member of the FFAN.

Two members of the AD€ Board of Directors also sit on the Federation Bureau, as General Secretary and Advisor.

Being a member of the Federation is a mark of confidence for our members and gives us greater visibility at national level.

The mission of the International Numismatic Council (INC) is to promote numismatics and related sciences by facilitating cooperation between individuals and institutions in the field of numismatics and related sciences.

The CIN brings together all the major international players in the field of numismatics. That's why the AD€, France's largest numismatic association in terms of membership, applied for and was accepted as a member of this international institution in 2008.

We also took part in the International Numismatic Congress held in Glasgow in September 2009, organised by the International Numismatic Council.

Being a member of the CIN gives us a certain international profile and enables us to make ourselves known to the major institutions.

Issuing authorities

The AD€ issue recommendations and opinions and are at the disposal of the issuing institutes to respond to any requests they may have. We also defend collectors whenever necessary.

European Commission / European Central Bank

Every year, the AD€ issue reports and opinions to the European Commission. They are also in contact with the European Central Bank from time to time. The aim of all this is to ensure that collectors are representative.

All our reports are archived in the private section of the website.

CEDA

The "Euro Denomination of the Year" prize is awarded each year to the institute that has issued the most beautiful euro coin, banknote or other object that has particularly impressed the association's members.

Press

The AD€ represent collectors in dealings with the French and foreign press on all matters relating to the Euro.

TERRITORIAL ORGANISATION

To bring our members closer together and to enable them to meet and talk to each other, our association is organised on a regional basis for some of its activities.

The breakdown is :

regional in France

national outside France (some countries may eventually develop a regional organisation as the association expands across Europe)

The association has regional and national delegates to ensure proximity to its members.

The Regional Delegates coordinate the association's activities at regional level, in particular by organising events to bring together members from the same region. In France, the perimeter is the administrative region.

The National Delegates coordinate the association's activities at national level in countries other than France, in particular by organising events to bring together members from the same country.
