Who can join?

All individuals or legal entities wishing to support the association, who are accepted by the Board of Directors and who pay the annual membership fee of 15 euros (or the "lifetime" membership fee of 225 euros).

As soon as your subscription fee has been received and your membership accepted, you will receive a welcome e-mail containing your access codes.

Join

You can join " for life "to AD€. The lifetime membership fee is 225 euros.

You will receive written notification within one month acknowledging your lifetime membership. If the association is dissolved less than fifteen years after your "lifetime membership", you will be reimbursed the difference between the cost of renewing your annual membership and the cost of your "lifetime membership".

In addition, if the current contribution of 15 euros per year should increase, you will of course not be asked to pay any extra.

WHY JOIN?

Membership entitles you to :

Spreading the cost
Increasing sources of information
Increase the number of skilled volunteers able to take on new activities
Increase the association's financial resources

As a result, the :

Has a "public" section on its website

Accessible to all, it explains its aims, activities and achievements, both general (catalogue of euro coins and series, discussion forum, etc.) and specific.

Distributes a brochure

At numismatic fairs, among professional numismatists, by members, in other numismatic associations explaining its activities

exchange of internet links with other sites

of numismatics to communicate its own address

insists on interviews with newspapers

either to disseminate information about the Euro in mainstream newspapers, or to publicise its activities in numismatic magazines

insists on receiving a presentation

(obviously free of charge) in books and catalogues for collectors about the Euro, in France and in Europe

takes part in numismatic fairs

in France and Europe, to present the association's activities and talk about the euro, Europe and the euro collection.

WHAT IS A MEMBERSHIP FEE FOR?

Like any association, AD€ needs financial resources to operate. At present, almost all the association's income comes from membership fees. To give you a better idea of "where your money goes", here is an approximate breakdown of expenditure for one year:

Website (development) 30%
Search engine optimisation and internet communication 19%
Website (hosting, backup, online payment) 15%
Representation, coin shows (France, international) 15%
Supplies, postage 10%
Organisation of 5% meetings
Federation contributions 3%
Other management expenses 3%

It is understood that Group Orders are not included in these budget allocations, as the various items are offered to members without any margin on the part of the association.

Your membership fee will therefore support the development of the association, and the amount is the same regardless of your participation in the services offered by AD€. Joining AD€ also means supporting public information campaigns on the single currency.
