How do I become a member?

 

Who can become a member?

Any natural or legal person who wishes to support the Society, who is accepted by the Executive Board and who pays the annual subscription fee of 10 euros (or the life membership fee of 150 euros) may become a member. Once you have paid your subscription fee and your application for membership has been accepted, you will receive an email welcoming you as a member and giving you your internet access code. You will receive your membership card and a letter of welcome by post within approximately 3 weeks.

How do I become a member?

You need to give us your contact details by filling in the online registration page here. You will be allocated a temporary number.

You will then be presented with different options for paying your subscription :

  • By French cheque, money order or cash, to be sent to the following address, together with the temporary number sent to you previously :

Note concerning life membership

You have the option of subscribing to life membership of Les Amis de l'Euro (The friends of the Euro). Life membership costs 150 euros. You will receive written notification confirming your life membership within one month. Each year your membership card will be sent to you in the post. If the Society is dissolved fewer than 15 years after your signing up to life membership, you will be reimbursed the difference between the cost of your life membership subscription and what you would have paid had you renewed your membership subscription a year at a time. Furthermore, if the current subscription fee of 10 euros per year should increase, you will of course not be asked to pay any additional charge. For people who join and pay their subscription fees now, their membership will run until December 31st, 2013.
